Jonathan Cheyne Jonathan Cheyne is a Partner in the Corporate team.
Jonathan specialises in capital raising and company floats, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, corporate governance and commercial advice and documentation. Jonathan has worked on a number of large and complex corporate transactions including several billion dollar acquisitions and capital raisings.
Jonathan’s clients have benefited from his experience in calling upon him to provide advice on due diligence and governance matters both at board and senior management levels.
Prior to joining Carter Newell, Jonathan worked in a national law firm and has also previously worked for Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
Jonathan is a member of the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association, Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) and is a regular speaker for courses conducted by the FINSIA and Chartered Secretaries Australia.
