Mark Brookes Mark Brookes is a Partner in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution team.
Mark specialises in a broad spectrum of commercial disputes and professional liability matters, and is involved in a number of fraud and investigations and directors’ and officers’ claims.
The matters in which Mark is primarily involved are complex, high value and multi-party disputes involving allegations of negligence and fraud and Trade Practices Act breaches that demand an experienced lawyer with scrupulous attention to detail.
In the area of professional liability, he advises clients on insurance policies and contractual indemnity issues, quantum and the prospects of recovery against other parties. The breadth of Mark’s experience enables him to provide clients with comprehensive strategies for resolving disputes as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.
Mark is admitted to practice in a number of jurisdictions, having previously practised in London since 1994. Mark is the President of the Queensland Chapter of the Australian Professional Indemnity Group and a member of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators. |
