Stephen Humphreys Stephen Humphreys is a Partner in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution team.
Stephen’s experience includes advising clients with respect to breach of contract claims related to supplier, transport, telecom and growers contracts, and on trade practices, property and native title disputes. Stephen also advises client on the enforceability of securities and credit terms.
Stephen’s insolvency practice includes acting for insolvency practitioners, secured creditors and unsecured creditors across all types of insolvency administrations with particular emphasis on advising and acting on insolvent trading and director’s duties matters.
Stephen is a member of the Advisory Board of the Queensland University of Technology Law and Justice Journal. He often presents to the legal industry and business groups on risk management issues on such topics; “Ensuring the Validity of Penalty Clauses”, “Preference Claims”, “Factors to consider when advising clients in financial distress” and “Powers of Provisional Liquidators”. |
