Peter Nugent is a Special Counsel within the Commercial Property team.

Peter has more than 15 years experience in complicated property projects and major mixed use developments in Queensland and New South Wales.  He specialises in master-planned, strata and community developments, with an emphasis on staged and mixed use developments and solutions to titling problems.  In projects of this nature, there are many aspects which require review and Peter has particular expertise in the area of structured titles, joint ventures, volumetric schemes, and has considerable experience negotiating with State and Local Governments with respect to project related matters, including infrastructure agreements and legislative changes.

In the area of development and joint venture agreements Peter has worked on major projects in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, for shopping centres, commercial buildings, technology parks and industrial centres and large residential developments.

Peter has also been involved in many strata and community developments include leading residential developments which have included negotiations and special leases with the Crown and other government owned entities.

  
Peter has acted in the sale and acquisition of many large commercial buildings and big shopping centres in Queensland and interstate.
