Flexibility

Carter Newell’s culture supports a range of formal and informal flexible working arrangements to encourage and retain top talent, whilst also balancing client and personal needs.

Flexibility can look different for everyone and the opportunity for flexible work arrangements may vary across certain roles due to operational and business requirements.

In support of flexible working arrangements, the firm holds the majority of meetings, training and development opportunities between 9am – 4pm. Regular meetings are also rotated to allow part-time employees greater opportunity to attend. Technology supports remote working and virtual connections with employees and clients.

The firm encourages staff members to discuss their particular working arrangements with their Partner or Manager.

Support packages include a Working Parents Toolkit, an Elder Care Kit, and a CN Parental Leave Policy that provides up to 12 weeks paid parental payments for primary care givers with 12 or more continuous months service and 14 weeks for three or more years of service.
