Jonathon joins the Corporate team as a Partner located in the firm's Sydney office.
Jonathon has more than 17 years transactional and advisory experience specialising in mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, restructurings, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements and corporate governance.
Prior to commencing at Carter Newell, Jonathon worked for a number of leading Australian and UK law firms, having worked in London for over 10 years. He has also undertaken in-house secondments at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and AMP Capital in London.
Jonathon’s experience includes working with clients throughout Australia, Asia, Europe and the United States of America across a broad spectrum of industries including banking and financial services, insurance, retail, technology and telecommunications with clients ranging from listed companies, institutional investors, insurers and private equity firms.
Jonathon’s experience, international perspective and enthusiasm to understand the business of his clients and their objectives allows him to provide commercially focussed advice.
