About Stephen
Stephen is an experienced construction lawyer, having advised clients on domestic and international construction disputes for more than seven years.
He advises clients in relation to Australian, cross border and international contractual disputes involving litigation, statutory adjudications and arbitrations. Stephen is experienced working with the Australian Standard and FIDIC suites of construction contracts.
Stephen also practiced as a structural design engineer for nine years before entering the legal profession.
He works closely with business owners, General Counsels, CEOs and managers and understands the realities and pressures of working in the building and construction industry and the importance of providing timely and practical advice.
Stephen has particular experience advising clients in relation to complex disputes requiring highly technical expert input in a range of disciplines.
Stephen was recognised by Doyle’s Guide in 2023 as a Queensland Construction Law Rising Star.
