Led by Partner and current Queensland Environmental Law Association (QELA) President, Hannah Riggs, our team provides planning, development and environmental advice and services to public and private sector clients including energy and resources companies, manufacturers and large-scale developers.

Our team use their significant experience and expertise to help clients navigate the planning and environmental issues involved in conducting projects and developments in Australia – from conception through to property use and development.

With an intimate understanding of the Queensland planning regime, our team provide highly strategic advice in a timely manner, enabling clients to deliver projects on schedule and with as little risk as possible.

In the event something doesn’t go according to plan, we are also experienced in planning and environmental disputes and have represented our clients in Planning and Environment Courts. Where necessary, we also collaborate with our insurance partners – who have expertise in environmental liability – to investigate and advise on related insurance policies.

We have assisted with personal injury claims, property damage and remediation claims, recovery proceedings and the prosecution of companies and their executive directors.
