Rochelle has extensive experience in both professional indemnity and management liability insurance lines. This experience ranges from advising international and national insurers in relation to complex indemnity issues, fidelity claims and dual insurance issues, to conducting the defence of both litigated and unlitigated claims made against a range of professionals – including accountants, real estate agents and architects for professional negligence – as well as allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination.

In addition to advising on legal issues and appropriate claim and costs reserves, Rochelle understands the importance of bearing in mind commercial considerations which are similarly relevant to the defence of any claim.

She regularly acts on behalf of insurers and their insureds at mediations and informal settlement conferences in a variety of jurisdictions, including those directed by the Anti-Discrimination Commission Queensland and the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
