Amy has in excess of 25 years experience conducting the defence of a wide range of personal injury and insurance claims for local, national, and international clients. She has defended claims that span a broad range of industries including aged care, schools, sporting associations, construction, manufacturing, retail, hotels and resorts, and the agricultural industry.
Her expertise ranges from public liability claims to WorkCover claims, product liability and professional indemnity claims. Amy also regularly advises on indemnity/policy interpretation issues, the application of policy exclusions, conditions and endorsements, and complex issues relating to liability and quantum for both insurers and self-insured clients. She also advises on historical abuse matters involving schools, sporting bodies, residential care providers and other organisations and institutions.
