Float Secretary - Brisbane

The Position

Carter Newell has a rare opportunity available for an experienced Secretary in our Brisbane office. In this full-time roles you will provide the full suite of secretarial services to our high performing teams, supporting a mix of lawyers and senior practitioners. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Document/Matter management;
  • Drafting correspondence;
  • Court documents;
  • Monthly billing;
  • Diary management, travel booking and handling of telephone calls; and
  • Associated administrative duties.

All secretarial roles are supported by an internal WP resource as well as dedicated filing clerks. 

Essential Experience and Criteria 

You will have at least 3 years of relevant experience as a legal secretary. You will have a flexible and positive disposition with well developed communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. Your 'can do' attitude, proactive approach and ability to prioritise under pressure will make you a valued member of the CN team.
