AMPLA: Land access changes - Brisbane

Resources partner James Plumb is a panelist in the upcoming AMPLA Queensland State Branch toolkit seminar which will provide an update on the Modernising Queensland Resources Acts program.

The toolkit seminar will focus on the current status of the resources legislation reform program in Queensland, particularly the recent passage of the Mineral and Energy Resources (Common Provisions) Act 2014. Alongside other panelists who will provide an update on notification and objections processes changes and overlapping tenements, James will discuss land access changes.

James is a past-President of QUPEX Inc, a Queensland committee member of the AMPLA, and a member of the Australian Pipeline Association. James regularly presents at industry and legal conferences, and is often published in academic and industry journals on topics relating to his area of expertise.
