(Seminar) Aviation Roundtable Discussion (Brisbane)

Mar 2021 | Aviation & Transport

Join Carter Newell's Aviation team on Thursday 25 March 2021 as they kick off the year with a two part, one-hour presentation.

Dangerous Recreational Flying Contracts
After briefly addressing laws dealing with obvious risks of dangerous recreational flying, our focus for this topic turns to the value of contracts in these scenarios and whether they still have any importance for operators managing their liability exposure, particularly amidst current Australian consumer legislation. This topic is valuable for commercial operators of recreational flying and to their risk and insurance advisers.

The Known Defect Exclusion
For our second topic, we explain the purpose of the Known Defects exclusion, why it may be relevant to FBOs, and how existing industry coverage responds to this issue. This session will be of interest to brokers and aviation insurers of FBOs in considering how best to manage risks from known defects.

We look forward to a lively roundtable discussion on these topics.
