The case of Sali & Ors v Metzke & Allen on face value is a fairly straightforward case about loss of opportunity and an accountant's failure to give proper timely advice.  However, upon closer examination, the case is a reminder to defendants (and their insurers) to ensure that all relevant parties are before the court so as to best take advantage of the proportionate liability legislation in the various states.
