Aristea is a Senior Associate in Carter Newell’s Sydney office. She has practiced in insurance law and dispute resolution since her admission in 2013.
Aristea has advised on and successfully prosecuted and defended a variety of claims including property damage, recoveries, personal injury (including nervous shock and compensation to relatives claims), product liability, professional indemnity and reinsurance claims. Aristea’s experience extends to multiple defendant liability disputes, complex public and product liability matters, and catastrophic personal injury claims.
Acting for domestic and global insurers, London underwriters, insurance brokers, small and large business, corporations and statutory bodies, Aristea has represented clients’ interests in proceedings instituted in various Australian jurisdictions and in Local, District and Supreme Courts, and Federal Courts.
Aristea was a Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards ‘Young Gun of the Year’ finalist in 2016, and a Lawyers Weekly ’30 under 30’ finalist in 2018.
