About Paul
Paul is a Special Counsel in the Energy & Resources team.
He is an experienced energy and resources lawyer with more than two decades of experience in the industry. He has advised clients, both nationally and internationally, on oil and gas, mining and renewable energy projects.
Prior to joining Carter Newell, Paul worked in house for an NYSE listed oil and gas company, a major domestic gas producer in Queensland, a Queensland based LNG company and a top-tier international law firm.
His broad experience in the industry covers major projects, contracts (procurement, services, construction (EPC, Works and Facilities (BOP)), O&M , power generation and pipeline), seismic and drilling operations, transportation, tenement acquisitions and divestments, project finance and gas marketing.
Paul has also advised on joint ventures, compliance (licence and statutory), WHS&E, insurance and risk, as well as dealings with stakeholders.
