Carter Newell is proud to announce its certification as a Family Inclusive Workplace by Family Friendly Workplaces. This recognition places Carter Newell among a growing and progressive cohort of certified organisations committed to supporting employees in balancing their professional and personal lives.
Launched in May 2021, this certification was developed by Parents At Work in collaboration with UNICEF Australia. Together, they established the National Work + Family Standards and introduced the Family Inclusive Workplace certification to acknowledge organisations committed to helping employees meet their work, family, and wellbeing needs.
The certification acknowledges workplaces that excel across five critical pillars: flexible work, parental leave, family care, family wellbeing, and leadership culture.
In alignment with these principles, Carter Newell provides support in the following key areas:
- Parental Leave: Policies that are both gender – and family-inclusive, enabling equitable access and support for all parents.
- Flexible Work: Adaptive work arrangements that allow employees to meet both professional and family commitments.
- Family Care: Practical resources and flexible frameworks to assist with caring responsibilities beyond the workplace.
- Family Wellbeing: Comprehensive support systems that nurture mental health and holistic wellbeing for employees and their families.
