Negotiation skills for Dispute Resolution

Earlier today, Special Counsel Louise Edmonds presented at the request of the The Law Society of NSW as part of its Civil Litigators program – addressing “Negotiation skills for Dispute Resolution”.

The presentation canvassed:

  • Negotiation theories and skills.
  • ‘The good, the bad and the ugly’ in ADR practice;
  • Takeaways for practitioners in present day practice – remote practice; artificial intelligence; and the importance of communication.

As part of our Dispute Resolution & Litigation team, this presentation is one of many initiatives aimed at supporting clients in understanding evolving risks. If you would like to learn more about this topic, the team’s articles can be found here.
