LGBTIQ+

The firm fosters an inclusive and diverse culture for LGBTIQ+ employees and allies, whilst also establishing greater connections in the LGBTIQ+ community.

We currently work with pflag+ (Parents and Friends of lesbians and Gays+) in a pro-bono capacity. We continue to be a proud member of Pride in Law and host events such as our 'Mardi Gras' each year, and support the Twenty10 incorporating GLCS NSW through our Workplace Giving Program.

Pride Month Celebrations

In 2020, Carter Newell celebrating a Mardi Gras event with clients and staff, highlighting the importance of supporting the LGBTIQ+ community and the significance of celebrating diversity in all forms. 

CN was privileged to host a webinar for our staff in 2021 with The Honourable Justice Michael Kirby AC CMG, Jane Hopkins, National Spokesperson pflag+ Australia, and Dean Clifford Jones, National Director of Pride in Law.

In support of R U OK? And pflag+, CN Partners attended a fund raiser dinner with a splash of yellow. The address highlighted pflag+’s support and education services for the LGBTIQ+ community and how R U OK? Day has a very important place in the community.
