Amy is a Special Counsel in Carter Newell’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution team.
Amy acts for a variety of public and private sector clients, specialising in complex commercial litigation. She has experience in matters before the Federal and Supreme Courts involving allegations of misleading and deceptive misconduct, restraint of trade, breach of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), shareholder disputes, partnership disputes as well as breach of Contract. In addition, Amy has experience in arbitrations as well as construction disputes, including adjudications. She is increasingly called upon to advise and act for clients who are victims of cyber crime.
She therefore applies her expertise in using technology to ensure disputes are run more efficiently and effectively which ultimately, provides cost savings to the client. Amy is also experienced in how those technologies interact with legal and ethical obligations to the court.
