About Isabelle
Isabelle handles complex professional indemnity claims for leading insurers at Carter Newell’s Sydney office. Admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW, Isabelle acts for a range of leading domestic and international insurers across a broad range of professional lines matters. She is a practised advocate with regular appearances in the District and Supreme Courts and NCAT, and has appeared independently at informal settlement conferences, including in a complex matter involving concurrent NCAT and District Court proceedings, multiple cross-claims and competing jurisdictional issues.
Prior to Carter Newell, Isabelle practised in public liability for local councils and commercial property managers, and earlier advised a government agency on information access, privacy and consent under state and federal legislation. That varied background underpins her ability to adapt her approach across different stakeholders such as insurers, brokers and insureds.
